Which is better: College or University?

Which one do you think is better a college, a university or a community college?

• I am an international student and I really don't know which one is better, besides the price, i'd like to know what kind of degrees they offer and which degree is worthless and which one is not...

  In the US college/university = same thing. both offer a four year Bachelor degree. One isn't going to be better or worse than the other. US students refer to both as college. ie: I am going to college this fall at Ohio State University. Community colleges are local schools. Student can go there for a two year degree. Some student go there for their gen eds and then transfer to a four year college. They also offer two year career programs. some go there because they are not ready to leave home.CC student usually live at home or are adults continuing their education. It costs a lot less than a four year college. A Bachelor degree requires all students to take about 60 credits of general ed classes. Core subject classes, math, science, history, english, humanities. Many regard a CC as "not as good as" a four year college. Four year colleges have more professors with Doctorate degree. It does not make sense for an international student to go through all the trouble, time , money and effort to come here to go to a CC. The US only offers four degrees A two year Associate degree A Bachelor degree-four years.
