Which institute is best for animation and gaming?

My brother wants to study animation in USA. Which is the best institute?

• My brother is doing Animation from Amity. But it is derecognised again and the faculty is not good. So he wants to go to USA and take up a course there. Which is the best institute of America to study Animation. How can he apply? What is the criteria? Fees and Financial aid?

  I disagree. Animation is HUGE in the US. Many of the best programs are to be found in art or film program at universities. Some strong programs exist at: University of California, Los Angeles The School of Visual Arts CalArts The Rhode Island School of Design Art Center College of Design Vancouver Film (that's in Canada) New York University University of Southern California The Savannah College of Art and Design The Art Institute of Chicago In general, he should try to seek out an art program that will give him very strong foundation skills, as well as strong technical skills in the area of animation he wants to pursue. So, in other words, he needs to know how to draw when he leaves the program, even if he's doing 3D computer animation. He may also want to think about where he wants to work once he graduates. It may be easier for him to get a job in California if he goes to a school on that coast, in Vancouver if he goes to school up there, and in NY if he goes to school on the east coast. Each school will have information on their websites for foreign applicants, including what he needs to do in order to apply. There may be some limited financial aid available to him, but as a foreign student, there may not be very much. That will vary by school.
