How can i apply to a community college in the USA?

HELP PLZ,USA community college?

  • hey I am from Pakistan and I have passed 4 GCE O-level exams with grade D in each subject and TOEFL iBT test with a score of 86 out of 120. are these grades good enough for admission in a USA community college to be more specific- Santa Monica college or Los Angeles city college? if i dont fulfill the minimum requirments I can repeat the cie exams in may/june and give 5 olevels hopefully passing the exams with good grades. the main question is if i give them in may/june the result comes out somwhere in the middle of august the problem with that is if i get accepted will i be able to apply and get a usa F-1 student visa on time for the fall 2012 semester? and are my current grades good enough for admission? if they are ill start the procedure from now without wasting anytime.... please guys help me out and answer. thank you

    What drip said - Don't come to America to study at a community college, they are for people who can't get into real colleges, or can't afford them. They don't have any requirements except a heart rate, a pulse, and some cash. And if you have cash, the other two are excusable!

You can go on any US school's web site to see requirements for international students. You can email the international student office with any question. CC do not provide housing. You would need to find a place to stay and have transportation. If you owned a car you must have car insurance too. coming all the way to the US to go to a CC is not a good idea. Most US colleges require A levels and the SAT
