What actually means by Vi, Vxi ,Zx, Zxi, Vd, Vdi, Zd, Zdi, Gls,Gl, etc, etc, in car models in India?

  • With reference to above what shall we look for in a particular car model in India?

  • Answer:

    Like your clothes with X, XL XXL etc. representing the size. Similarly in vehicles companies tag their car with LX, LXI, ZXI etc. Like wise as the first letter changes, so does the features in the car changes. Starting from LXI all the way to ZXI. In any Maruti car ZXI has max. features fitted from the company. And tag without " I ", i.e. VX, LX means that version got no power steering.
