How to fix Hyundai Tiburon door handle?

There are rods (or cables depending on the year of your car) inside your door panel that connect the interior handle to the latch mechanism. It could be disconnected at either end. You'll have to take the interior panel off to verify. It may need a new rod (or cable) or could just need to be snapped back into place. They are held in place by small plastic clips that break after time. Sometimes the interior handle itself breaks or cracks too. It is held in place by screws and connects to a rod (or cable) as well. They are all available separately from your Hyundai dealer. clips = $1.00 ea rod = $5.00 cable = $17.00 handle = $25.00 It is (usually) a simple fix if it is a rod. If you have cables, you'll spend some time connecting to the latch actuator (power locks).
