• Hi while i was working at sutherland chennai i applied for the pan card. i didnt receive the pan card for around two months and i applied for a new pan card some one week before. I have also resigned my job in the meantime. i thought that the pan card will not arrive and so i applied for a new pan card. but now i got the pan card i applied through sutherland. how can i cancel the second pan card i applied? any suggestions please??? my email address : [email protected]

  You can keep one card through which you have done some transaction and the other card which you have not used can be cancelled. Do not use both. Q38. I have been allotted more than one PAN, what is the procedure for cancellation of other PAN(s)? Ans. You have to mention the PAN which you are using currently on top of the application form. All other PAN/s inadvertently allotted to you should be mentioned at item no. 10 and the corresponding PAN card(s) should be submitted for cancellation along with the form. Contact any PAN card agents of NSDL or UTITSL. They will do the needful for you.
