What is the different category of service tax in India?

Serial number of sales tax invoice and service tax! india?

  • I use tally, i was wondering if its a problem if the Invoice for service tax, is included in between sales tax invoices. that is. Invoice no. 1 (Sales TAX Invoice) Invoice no. 2 (Service Tax Invoice) Invoice no. 3 (Sales Tax Invoice) In the above scenario the invoice numbering is this fine? service tax being included in between?

    serial number is an internal control. it will not Create any problem. but it is always suggested to keep different serial for easy reach. you can create two type of sales voucher in tally and resolved your problem. Tulsi Gupta

you are using Tally sofware for your business. there is provision in Tally itself to give Invoice Numbers Manually. that way you can segrigate sales Invoice and Service Tax Invoice.
