Why do my eyes tear for no reason?

For some reason I have an attraction to people who would be considered strange?

  • Ok so first off a few people may find this offensive, but I don't mean to, I am just a little confused as to why this is. So yesterday I was thinking, and it suddenly came to me, nearly all of my friends would be considered strange. And also today, I was watching a show about tourettes and this one guy had really severe tourettes, and I really just wanted to be his friend...This is a conscious thing, I don't think "your weird, I want to be your friend!" but I have a strange sort of attraction to them...for example my 3 really good friends: Friend A: He has cerebral palsy in his neck, and is part deaf, many people can't understand him because of this...now I made friends with him when I was 5...now at this age I didn't have a clear understanding of disabilities or the idea that they are any different and yet I still wanted to be friends with him rather than other people. Friend B: I met him when I was 8 years old, he has cerebral palsy in his legs, and is a little odd mentally too, I can't put my finger on it...but It's like he has the maturity of an 8 year old...It's hard to say. Friend C: I met him when I was around 11 (I'm 14 now) He was finnish and couldn't speak english at the time, he is quite over weight and at the time he had quite a few ticks, like blinking in bursts of 4 and then opening his eyes really wide... As far as I know I've always been like this...is there any reason for this? I mean like I don't treat them any differently, and I don't think of them any differently than other people. There was another occasion, at the time I was very popular. Then this kid came to our school, and he was considered very unusual, I'm not sure quite what was up with him, but for example if he sneezed he would shout "OH NO!" and make a big scene, or if he found something funny he would laugh as loud as he could...and on a few occasions if he didn't like something like a drawing like I did and would tear it apart...now I was friends with this kid, I was the only person who was friends with him. Eventually he became sort of too attached to me, and it got a little awkward, but anyway this made me very unpopular and people told me not to be friends with him and yet I still wanted to be... So why do I have a natural attraction to people who would be considered strange?

I don't think you a weird for wanting to be friends with people with physical disabilities, it shows that you are a mature individual someone who doesn't look at the physical and just accepts people for who they are. If that means you're strange well i wish they're were more people in this judgmental world who were like you.

Better to be a friend than to be a bully. Also for friend C, you should really get the ticks off of him! Did you know they can cause lymes disease? Nasty thing, it can cause your joints to ache.. Odd thing is I was tested positive for it but later I tested negative.. Once you have it, you're supposed to always have it..
