Why do some racial stereotypes still exist?

Here is a list of racial stereotypes I have noticed STILL exist to this day. -Black people like fried chicken, watermelon and kool aid. -Asians are smart at math. -All Indians are doctors. -White girls don't have big butts. -Latinos are rapists. -Native Americans are alcoholics. I could keep going on. Most people will tell you racism is wrong, but how can you say stereotyping people is any better?

Stereotypes only exist on the mind of low IQ or inferior minded people. If you are confident of yourself, no matter where you coming from, nobody will step over you. I am Latin myself and I don't care if somebody feel superior because their race or economy status. All what I have on my mind to beat that is that I have myself some tools that will make these idiots re-consider their non-sense manner...! Good luck...!

1. because its some truth to some of those sterotypes but then there isn't and 2. i never heard of latinos being rapists before.3. i've honestly have not met an indian person who wasn't a doctor or tech support person.
