What are some free chatrooms?

Why are all the UK (& also US) Chatrooms full of Filipina girls? What exactly do they want from us?

• Whenever i go to a local UK/London chatroom on Yahoo Chat hoping to find a local girl to chat to, I invariably land up wid a Filipina girl. You don't even have to msg them, as they come and try to chat to you by yourself. Couple of them also offered me to strip on their cam in return for some money. Out of curiousity, I even tried some US chatrooms and found Filipinas there too! I wonder why don't they go and chat up in some Phillipines chatroom. What exactly are all of them looking for in UK/US chatrooms? Are they looking up for some guys who would give em a UK/US Visa? Or to rip-off someone in exchange for their nude show on webcam?

  Some, but not all mind you, are probably looking to find someone to either marry them or be their 'financial sponsor', i.e. their "Sugar Daddy". I used to work with a Filipino gentleman, and, according to what he told me once while we were talking on a break at work, a hundred US dollars, or the same amount in British pounds, is enough for a family of three or four to live on for almost a month in the Phillipines, and ten or twenty thousand dollars could buy the next best thing to a mansion outright. Don't fall for any lines they may give you, like one or both of their parents being ill and not having enough money to pay for medical care or being in college and suddenly losing their 'scholarship' or 'grant'. I also mentioned some girls from his home country had to my former co-worker and he informed me that the ones who 'offer to strip' are basically the kind of girls you NEVER want to give any personal information to, because they're either scamming you on their own or working for someone else running the scam, usually someone with better computer skills than the average person on the internet, meaning a hacker or even group of hackers. Like I said in my first line, not all of the girls are like that though, some genuinely want to find a foreign spouse, since even someone who makes less than $25,000, or the equivalent in British pounds, is considered to have a mid to upper middle class income in relation to the the average income in the Phillipines, and other countries as well. So, try to avoid the ones who 'offer' to do anything at all in return for money, and block them from contacting you if at all possible, but if one of them merely wants to talk with someone who lives in a different country, and there are some of them out there, feel free to chat with them, but if money ever comes up in the conversation, meaning she suddenly needs some, within the first month, it's probably a long term scam. Also, I'm sorry to say, the Filipina women aren't the only ones doing this sort of thing, I've seen numerous women from the former USSR, and even a few from Southeast Aisa, Taiwan, Thailand, Viet Nam, and Korea (North and South), doing the same thing. One Russian woman even contacted me out of the blue and told me she had seen my picture and knew from merely looking at it that she and I were 'soulmates', then tried to persuade me to pay for her visa fees and airline ticket to come to the US--as if I could afford that sort of thing on what I was making at the time. (If I could have afforded to let her have the amount of money she was asking me for I wouldn't have been driving a thirdhand Dodge Dakota with over 200,000 miles on the odometer at the time.) Just try to ignore the more blatant ones out there, or if you can report them for abusing the chat room privileges, if they have and usually 'offering to strip' for money falls into the category of abuse because they're basically using the chat room to line up clients for their business, namely the porn or scam business. I apologize if my statements offend anyone, but I am merely passing on my own experience and information I have received in a firsthand conversation with a Native Filipino gentleman. I fully realize a lot of single women in other countries are merely looking for a foreign spouse who can give them a better life than they have in their own nation--this warning is not directed against those honest women, it is directed at the DISHONEST ones trying to get money from other people.
