What exactly constitutes a sell-out?

Do you think Sellout black people disassociate themselves.....?

  • with blacks who are proud of who they are? ALSO why do sellout blacks believe, being educated, working hard etc. equates to being a sellout? I think they are the only ones that think that, because once again they have the mentality of a racist white person What is wrong with being proud of yourself, and your culture? Is that bad? Anyway i've noticed this among mostly extreme sellout black people I have had friends from all cultures(except white people because they are racist) and ethnicities, and have ALWAYS encouraged them to be proud of their ethnicity's culture, history and of who they are physically. If you are NOT proud of who you are, then your self esteem is EXTREMELY LOW Why promote low self esteem?

  • Answer:

Well, atleast it didn't get deleted this time. Yes, they do disassociate themselves because they hate what their race, the color of their skin and facial features, represent to the world because they have taken on the same anti-black views as everyone else. In their minds they have begun to associate "black" with "ghetto" now, so sad. Racists have it easy these days because all they have to do is plant the seeds and let society and the self do the rest. I am proud of who I am. I don't uphold the bad of the Black community but I won't belittle any part of my culture.

It might make them feel weak. These sell-outs felt the only way to accomplish anything was to kiss up to white people and when they meet black people who are proud of who they are and still made it, well...I'm sure it rocks their world. These black people who didn't need to play Uncle Tom and Aunt Jemima still managed to hold on to their integrity and dignity as a black person w/o becoming white washed. They're the anti sell-out. The true representation of the ideal black person. I'm sure it makes these sell-out black people feel inferior and their lives a waste of betrayal. These sell-outs are now pariah in the black community and never will be truly accepted by white people. There in a place I never would want to be. Answer: Of course they wouldn't. It would remind them of their incompetence as a black person. Of course this IS merely a theory.

I'm proud of who I am and I'm no sell out. I just don't associate with ghetto scum. That's all.

So if a guy leaves his hellhole of a town built on a collapsed Uranium mine and has nothing to do with the lowlifes and their BS, there's something wrong with him? There's nothing wrong with removing yourself from a radioactive environment.

u sound like you are craving some hot white men

You can be educated, professional and fit in to normal society and not be a sell out. There are African Americans in society who are very proud of our heritage and culture that are "Good" people now having said that there are also other African Americans that are "Good" people in society that are sell outs because they completely un affiliate themselves with our culture and the progress of those that are left behind in other words "Uncle Toms". There are also other African Americans that are sell out too the once who look down upon those who have succeeded. and before I leave i wanna leave you with this thought here. Why does the African American community have these problems? In order to now the root of the problem you must know your history first then you will know how to approach the problem. that means you have to read and become educated.
