Why do people think AIDS came from Africa?

AIDS isn't a weapon created by a bunch of racists. It was caused by some monkeys who could give people AIDS by scratching or biting them...in Africa!

Your premise does not hold water. If, in fact, AIDS was manufactured to kill people of color only, why are there children, and whites diagnosed everyday.

For your information, AIDS is the Syndrome, HIV is the virus. If the author can't even differentiate between the two, then I don't know how much of an authority he is on the subject. And no one said HIV origin is because of 'poverty and stuff." Scientists think that it was transmitted between monkeys there to humans. Even in a rich country like US, has not found a cure. How the heck do the statistics support his view? All it shows is that the blacks (specifically in Africa) are dying more from HIV than whites are. It shows no correlation or proof that it is a white-created disease. That conclusion was reached first and then the evidence was chosen to support it. With that reasoning, I can say that Asians are trying to take over the intellectual world and the proof is that they are getting higher SAT scores than all other races.

Maybe its only a small group of uneducated people who think that because I certainly have never heard that AIDS come from africa. Who knows what the truth is about anything anymore in life..You don't trust what you read anymore

I don't think AIDS came from Africa....I think it was deliberately spread there

Because it came from a certain monkey that is only found in Africa thats why! And since Africans hunted them and killed them, the monkey blood found its way into open sores, therefore transmitting it to the human race. Stop pulling out the racist card......or the gay one for that matter! And it is more prevalent in homosexuals because the riskiest form of transimission is anally. This is because the hole is tighter so it is more likely to tear, thus making entry ways for semen to be bigger than if it were transmitted through the vagina. The vagina expands, thus not tearing easily like a butt hole will so it isn't as risky for transmission! And hhmmm i wonder how gay men have sex?????
