I read my boss's emails.

Do foreign country's government have the ability and the right to read U.S citizens emails who are in the U.S?

• Someone told me that countries like China who have a communist government have the ability to read U.S citizens emails. People told me the Chinese Communist Government reads our emails when we are located in the united states. I find it repulsive and an invasion of my privacy if China likes to read my emails when I am in the united states. All of my emails have nothing against them but it is an invasion of my privacy. They said China hacks into the U.S internet servers and reads our emails. Is that true ?? Do they have the authority to something like this while we are residing in the United States ???

  I have older friends in China! :) (like...college age) and sometimes, I'll admit that the things they can do scare me! Lol. Facebook and YouTube are blocked in China. They hack it all the time so they can access it. Someone I know hacked a database of an online store O_O If you look at a finder, you'll notice that most "hackers" that steal your bank information are here, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are reading your emails as we speak.
