Why do black people get mad when other people use the N-word when black people use it all the time?

A lot of Black Americans actually don't use the N word, especially the older generation of black Americans. My mother would slap me if I said that around her.

I'm tired of this topic, it's for them to resolve on their own.

Sorry don't use and was not allowed to use it growing up...those venues you mentioned are driven by non-blacks and often are for the consumption of non-blacks who have always adored using that word in reference to black people...so given the opportunity to use it freely they go overboard...I know many young men who do not use it...but you need to ask yourself why someone feels that they need to use a word that is known to be offensive to blacks when they are not black? Why?

I've heard many non blacks say it.... There is a difference wig HOW people use it and HOW they say it. I don't like the word in general though
