WHY DO WHITES THINK THAT ALL BEAUTIFUL BLACK PEOPLE ARE MIXED?

  • Some white lady costumer at ma husband's job always argue him down about him being mixed! She has a biracial daughter that she's always tryna hook him up with, and she's convinced that ma husband is mixed! She be saying how da only beautiful blacks are mixed, so basically I DON'T CUT IT! LOL...He's light skinned but all his family is ma color, so him being light was a one in a million chance! If he has white blood it's waaaaaaaaaaaay far down the line! His grand and great grand parents are still alive and they look just like me! It's like yes some people are mixed, BUT IT'S TO THE POINT THAT PEOPLE ARE CONVINCED EVERY BEAUTIFUL BLACK GIRL IS MIXED WITH WHITE! I'm sorry but i don't believe ALL africans originally looked like sudanese, we may not were LIGHT skinned but what about women like me, megan good, and kerry washington? We're not neither dark or light, but some would still say WE'RE MIXED! It's like me assuming jessica biel is mixed wit black because of her lips, bone structure and body! Or angolina jolie for her lips! WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST ACCEPT THAT WE ARE A BEAUTIFULLY DIVERSE RACE?

    Calm down. The reason why this is is because the only black girls (save for Gabrielle Union) that are portrayed as "beautiful" in the media and make the Hot Lists and Most Beautiful People list ARE mixed (Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, etc.) So when someone says "pretty black girl" the image of a mixed girl springs to mind. And the women who ARE all black (in Hollywood) are getting their hair straightened and all that, making themselves appear mixed and so people then think that they are and become further convinced that blacks have to be mixed to be attractive.

It makes them feel better to "know" that as the "most attractive race" they can help those of the "lesser races" look good. It's better to them than acknowledging the obvious fact that whites aren't the only attractive people in the world.

Because they can't deal with the fact that there are pretty full black people. For example, they try to say that Kenya Moore is mixed but she is all black. They can not handle the truth and it's sad.

That woman infuriates me as well, but just because some people believe that about all black people doesn't mean you should believe all white people believe that. Anyone can be beautiful, no matter what their race, and not everyone can be defined by the looks or actions of others. It's not only whites who think that. I'm Asian, and whenever I see a good-looking black person, it always turns out that that person is mixed. 100% Africans don't look good. Don't deny it. Edit: Ed the Sophomore: Uhm... That girl is actually ugly. She needs to lose the weave.
