What sites are there that i could go to to make a gay youth website for free? like a gay myspace kinda thing..?

i want to make my own website for teenage gays and bi's to talk and meet and chat with each other, but i dont know anysites that would let me do that for free, i know there are some out there like www.thegyc.com but i want to make my own because i feel i have so much i can contribute to and i want teens like myself to be able to go to numerous others rather than one plain and simple site...if you have any suggestions please feel free to tell...thanks for your help! -Ace

Ace, it's not gonna happen for free. The technology behind these social networks costs a lot of money. I would know, I started development (but had to cancel) on a LGBT youth site to compete with xy.com and mogenic.com (the latter now defunct, and the former dying out). I was only 16 but I spent over $4,000 in development on the background technology alone.
