How do I chance my Avatar into a real picture?

If my avatar or picture looks nice, do I get a better chance to receive an answer to my questions?

Not at all! What encourages me to answer a question is if the question is interesting or if it's a question I know the answer to. Somtimes I don't look at the avatar except at the end and sometimes not at all!!
