Symbolism through out the years. Whats your take on this?

  • MISUNDERSTOOD SYMBOLISM TROUGH OUT THE YEARS! Written By: Samantha S. Many Symbol we see today in the media, on our street and even in our homes have changed through out the years. A symbol that once represented good can now be know as a representation of evil acts and vice versa. Through out the years different culture have adopted and discarded symbol after symbol. What once showed respect to the lord can now be seen as a Statistic symbol. The Nationally known peace sign did not always represent humanitarian values. Many people believe That Gerald Haltom designed this symbol in 1958. Popular belief is that this symbol represents The action committee against Nuclear War. What most people do not know is that before the 60’s the peace sign was not considered a good thing. Adolf Hitler and the Natzee’s originally adopted this symbol in 1941 to 1945. To this day this symbol can be found on Hitler’s SS Soldiers Tombstones. Originally the downward fork symbolized the Death of Man and when placed into a Circle it Meant the Death of all men. Now if the Peace sign would be inverted towards the skies that would indeed represent Haltom’s original message.(Seen in Picture Above) Popular belief is that when a symbol is Inverted it mean the opposite of the original Symbol. The Swastika commonly known as the Natzee Symbol represented good luck, health and prosperity in the past. In fact the Swastika was used in churches all over the world for over 3000 years. It truly was a highly coveted symbol in the past but sadly today if a human being wears this symbol there considered a Natzee. Yet another example of symbols being misinterpreted is the upright pentacle. This symbol has been used by many different cultures and religions. It is believed that this symbol originally represented a goddess named Kore who was worshiped by many. You see the pentacle can be interpreted in many ways but it actually represents the belief in spiritual and magical tolerance commonly known as Wicca. These followers our not Satanist and to be honest majority of wiccans do not believe you can cast spells only in the worldly magic, the sun the air, the tree’s to these people everything around them is magical, they do not believe in one god, more like spirits most common Hecate a spirit who is said to grant prosperity luck and spiritual truth. Many people misinterpret the upright pentacle as a Statistic emblem and they are wrong. What they really should be worried about is the inverted Pentagram witch is indeed a satanic emblem. Notice how the spiritual point is inverted in the picture to the right. Unfortunately though these symbol have to completely different meaning they are misunderstood because the look almost exactly alike. You see the inverted Pentagram actually symbolizes Death, Deceit and loss. Another example of symbols being misunderstood is the most recent one the Anarchy Symbol. Popular among teens and young adults it also originally meant Follower of Satan intil Satanist some how got young adults to believe it symbol and belief against the Government. I theorize they’ve done this believing that teens where more likely to go against the Government then the lord. Majority of teens don’t know where they stand in religion but because there so young they won’t risk what they have yet to figure out. They may go through fads but it is very rarely that a teen actually joins a cult. Many cultures believe that once a symbol is tattooed on your body that belief follows you to the after life. There fore I Believe Satanist deceives young adults into making there beliefs permanent even if the teens don’t know what there sighing up for. Back when all things where Christian the upside down cross also known as Peters Cross was a sign of respect. When Peter was Crucified he was hung upside down and so where many other followers of god. To Show there respect basically saying “I do not compare to Jesus Christ our lord and Savior“. Satanist soon adopted this symbol and it became wildly known that when a symbol is shown inverted it is the opposite of the original meaning. Though originally the cross was the exception. Another example of this is the hours shoe. When hung upward it was said to catch luck but when hung downward it was said to release bad luck. You can tell what a symbol means if you just look closely enough to see the symbolic message, the problem with most people today is they see what there taught witch to be frank is not always the truth. So please next time you see a symbol look closely to find a deeper meaning.
