How do I view a profile of someone on Yahoo?

How do I view someone’s Yahoo! profile, from yahoo messenger?

  • ok ive been working on this for the longest, i knw i go to contacts and right lick, but when i do i never seee the view profile tab!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Ok so after you sign in, go to the address book tab and not the messenger list tab. right click on the name. in this menu the words contact details should be highlighted. view profile should be right under it. if this doesn't work try opening an im window. then click Action(menu bar)=>contact options=>and again right under contact details. again if this doesn't work then you'll have to wait until your friend sign's in and starts to chat.then you'll be able to click on their pic and view the profile. Finally if it still won't work something is wrong with your messenger. you have to change or update it. Good luck.

Hmm so you right click on a contact's name and you do not see View Profile in the right click menu that opens? In the section where you see it the options are: Stealth Settings, Message Archive, Contact Details, and then View Profile. II do not know why it would not be there if it is not. OK try this, select a contact by left clicking a contact on your messenger list and then click Contacts menu at the top of Y!M and then choose View Profile. One other options, try opening an IM window to the person by double clicking their Yahoo ID quickly on your messenger list and then in the IM window, click Actions and select Contact Options, and then select View Profile.
