At the top of the main Yahoo! Messenger window you will see tabs - Messenger - My Display Image ( shorcut is Ctrl+Shift+F8 ) in there you will see the options to select your picture , no picture or use avatar . Make sure you click apply then o k . This also can be accessed from any PM/IM window by clicking on the box which displays your avatar . Make sure you have Display image enabled which is again from the main yahoo messenger window - Messenger tab - Preferences ( keyboard shortcut - Ctrl+Shift+P ) - Display Image in there tick on Enable display images also tick on Show others display images and i suggest uncheck ask first before showing others images as this has been known to cause problems . Dont forget apply then o k . Also in that menu is default image settings .
