  How to enter a chat room from Yahoo Messenger: 1. At the top of the Yahoo Messenger friends list is a bar with the following options: ‘Messenger’, ‘Contacts’, ‘Actions’, ‘Help’. Click the one that says ‘Messenger’ and a menu will drop down. 2. Slide down to ‘Yahoo Chat’ and a smaller menu will appear to the side. 3. Slide over and click ‘Join a Room’. A new box will pop up with lots of choices. Major categories are listed on the left, with groups of rooms and individual rooms listed on the right. You can click the + to open more choices on either side. 4. Make a choice from the list on the right, then click ‘Go to Room’ on the bottom of the box. 5.
