Can I search Answers by Yahoo screen name?

How do I change screen name for yahoo answers?

  • I have different screen names in yahoo. Can I use any one of my other screen names asking and answering questions? I would like to bounce back and forth from two different screen names.

    When you go to your Yahoo! Answers profile and click "Edit My Info", you will see that there's a place to change the nickname you use here. The name we use here isn't our Yahoo! ID/Username, or I would think most wouldn't use their actual ID. You don't have to use ANY Yahoo! ID for a nickname here on Yahoo! Answers. You can change the name you use here at any time, but you can not use any other Yahoo! Account to participate in Yahoo! Answers.

You can not change your actual screen name with out reregistering a new with yahoo. You can go into your "Account Info" tab and under the account manager portion you can create an Aliases. This aliases can be used to enter a chat room or sign in to yahoo messanger with your original screen name password. You can create several aliases. I set them up and based on my mood is who I sign in for the day with.
