Since Nov. 1, I can't chat with my alias. How can I get Yahoo chat to recognize that alias so I can chat?
-
I have 2 Yahoo accounts. One is my primary account, the other I used just for chatting. Now I cant use my chatting ID because in Messenger, only my primary ID shows up. When I go to "edit/create profiles" all I get is a page to sign in or sign up. Do I have to get yet another name and ID? I liked my alias ID and would rather not change it. What should I do?

Answer:
You should be able to chat in your alias ID.... there should be a drop down box that enables you to change which name you wnat to enter the chat rooms with when you click on Join a Room... and the Join a Room box pops up, it is at the top of the box, lists all the names you have with that Yahoo! Account.

Try taking out Yahoo and reinstalling, sounds like a file is missing.
