How do I e-mail someone?

By my Avatar it says my email address when I write someone it says my email. I do not like this, how do I?

• I would like to hide my email from my outgoing Messenger Mail and use a nickname. How do I do this? When I was at a friends house I go to see my messages and It says my email not a nickname how do I changed this. It also says my email by my avatar. Why? So' in the First name: and last name. I leave that blank and only write a nickname? Please give me more detail...II see by my avatar My real email I can click on my email and it show me a list of aliasI have created yet I do not know how to switch to one of these alias's I have created. I would Like it to say my nickname. Not email. Why does in say my email beside my picture "avatar"? How do i use on of my aliases that I have created. I see them listed.
