User profile question?

even if i had a yahoo answers account for over 3 years, i just realized now that i have an email associated with it, a chat and a user profile. my other online profiles are always kept private or hidden, but this one was public. i changed my name and the settings to hidden, but i have a question: before it was hidden, i know users can see my name, city and avatar, but could they have seen my updates on questions, or just updates as in '' xyz has updated her profile'' ? i want my questions absolutely private. they were always private but on the user profile (not on my YA profile) can they still be seen even if they were hidden? thanks.

If you did not manage your updates on your profile & for Yahoo Answers , have it marked to not share with anyone , they seen them as updates when you posted. They are hidden here for anyone other than your network. That connections update is a different setting & has to be managed separately . So if you now have it under manage to not share Yahoo Answers, they will no longer see those updates*
