The new yahoo profile: where did my old pictures go ?

why are all my pictures gone and are they gone forever. my computer crashed last year and now that i have a new one i dont have those old pictures but i knew they would be on my yahoo profile. but when i got yahoo for the first time the other day there is this new yahoo profile thing and all my pictures are gone ???!!!! whats going on and how can yahoo just do that to you without giving you the option to save them !!!!!

Yahoo is messing up this change very badly. Millions of profiles have been wiped out. I have had a Yahoo profile for almost a dozen years. They should at least have emailed us and given us notice of the change. But they do claim that they can give you back your own data by going to Customer Care. So I suggest that you do that as quickly as possible. Good luck.
