How to set Myspace profile 2.0 to private?

On myspace how could someone be on my friends list with out me adding them and my profile is set to private?

sometimes when u click a link and it takes u out of myspace and u have to sign in. thats a hackers work if u look at the top its a diffrent site not myspace once u put ur info in there a hacker finds ur password and email that person must have been a hacker went on ur pro and added his own myspace if u change ur password it will all be fine vote for me nikki

it is probably tom. tom is Myspace. he is good. keep him on your friends list. he is always added to every new account. sure he looks like a dork, but he is cool.
