How do you remove "Connections" on your Yahoo! Profile?

How to remove the "new profile" status in yahoo messenger when I activated my yahoo profile?

I deleted my updates in yahoo profile but it's still there. Unchecked the "Share My Updates" box in the "Manage My Updates" section it's still there. I tried almost everything but nothing worked. What do I do? The link will only go away if I make a yahoo status but I don't like putting up statuses. What Do I do? :D PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP! :D

A couple of things; whenever you make changes you must immediately refresh that page in order for the change(s) to finalize. To ignore this step is the same as not making any changes at all. Along the same lines, some changes require that you restart your computer completely. The way to tell the difference is, if you make changes, refresh the page and the change hasn't been made, you'll have to restart your computer. There's no way around this, no shortcuts or key shifts. You have to complete the process to finalize any changes made.
