How can I change my alias name on my messenger?

I would to change my alias name in my yahoo to my real name?

  • at present I am using alias name when i sign up with my yahoo messenger. now i would like to change it tomy real name and how can i transfer my contact list to my real name

    No matter which name you're using, you still only have one account. If you click Contacts and scroll to Address Book, you'll see all of the names on your contact list no matter which name you're currently using. Same goes for Messenger. Just import your contact list and both name will have access to it.
