    You have to make a yahoo avatar, and then you can use it's picture as your profile pic for yahoo answers. Just go to http://avatars.yahoo.com/ to create your own. :)

1st one for a pic, second for an avatar. Click on view my profile. Double click on your picture or avatar where it says change your picture.Box opens with options to upload a picture. Upload the picture from your computer, select it and you are done. Go to edit my preferences at the top right of your home page. You will see a grey smiley marked get my avatar now. Click that and you can create your avatar on the page that opens.
