How do I change the name people see when they see my profile?

I cant change my name in my acount profile, why?

• went to my yahoo profile in my account and tried to change my name ( because now it is different) it said the changes are saved and I see it, and after that when mails are sent , it still keeps the old name , ( showing in the sender section), I know that because I send emails to other people and they still see that the sender is me with my old name, and i see it too, then I go back to my profile and see if it was actually saved and it was , it is saved with my new name , but my old name keeps showing ...why? how do you change that if it is not changing it in your profile? ...I also changed it in my contacts too, , it doesnt do it :( is there any other place to change it that I am not thinking of, please help , it is frustraiting.

  You can change the FROM name and the REPLY TO address on the "General Preferences" page. The FROM name can't be blank but you can change it to anything including the email address itself.
