Why i cannot view display images from yahoo messenger to windows live messenger ?

i cannot view display images on yahoo messenger from windows live accounts and vice versa, only it showns the basic picture(":)") ,only the proper status like it should are seen..

Are you talking about sharing photo files? Try doing this, have the person from Live, send you the first im and you reply to her. It used to be that WIndows HAD to initiate the contact in order to connect with Yahoo, maybe there's still some vestiges of that in the system.
