How can I see the status update for someone's main Yahoo ID as well as their Yahoo Alias on my YM Version 10?

A friend of mine often updates their Yahoo profile status line. It shows on my YM friend list for their Alias name but not for their main ID name? However, other ppl see it on the main name ID. How can I get it to show on my Yahoo Messenger (version 10) friend list for both their primary ID as well as their Alias ID?

Answer:
Yahoo contacts are diffrent from Yahoo connections. You maybe or may not be connected to all your contacts. For connection to be established, i think you or he needs to send a connection request which needs to be accepted by the other. If he has set the prefrences for updates to be visible only to connections then in that case, if you are not connected to the main id, you wont see them. Then only people who are connected to the main id will see them.

Your friend may have deleted you as a contact from their YM friends list, in this case their profile status line would not show on your YM friends list for their Main ID name, but you would still see it on their Alias ID ? just a thought !
