Is the profile views feature on myspace accurate?
-
I don't think it is. I will go days without having even one view and then 12 in a day. It's happened a couple of times and my friends have noticed the same thing. My friend is a techie and he said it has something to do with where a person is viewing myspace profiles from - like if it's from a public computer (a kinkos or school lab) then it will multiply the visits (one person views a profile and it will register 8 views, instead of one). any thoughts? thanks!

Answer:
Personally, I think it counts each time one visitor clicks on your page as a visit. Like if someone clicks in your friend box and goes to the page that lists all of your friends and then goes back to your profile - that counts as two. At least it seems that way to me!
