Why don't my contacts show up in yahoo mail?

Can a yahoo messenger contact with 2 profile names both show online at once?

  • I have a contact who has 2 different names or profiles on one account. He has one yahoo address but uses 2 different names at different times in conversation. Somtimes when i chat with them they appear as one,,somtimes the other. Can someone have 2 different conversations at once,,using one name in one conversation and the other name in the other. Both names show as online in my yahoo mail contacts at the same time. So is it possible they are using each name and just having seperate conversations at the same time?? I just dont know how esle to explain how both can show online at the same time and that would seem to be a reasonable explanation.

  • Answer:

yes its possible once when you have the page open to chat some one you have the choice send as if you have at your profile more than one name you can take any one you need if you don't have you can make at your profile more than one

Other answers

ANY person CAN have (and use simultaneously* or alternatively) as many Yahoo Messenger IDs as s/he wants, and if you add these IDs on your contact list, you'll be able to chat with either of them, as if they were separate persons. * Anybody can also log in Yahoo Messenger with more than one of his/her ID simultaneously provided that s/he has access at more than one computer at the same time (one computer per ID) say, in an office or home network.
