How can you hide your yahoo pulse profile on answers?

  • I am using the pic from my Yahoo Pulse profile thing, but I dont want the link to it on my answers about me page, how can I make it private?

    Yahoo has changed the way you control who can see your profile and web site updates. It can be very fine tuned. Go to http://pulse.yahoo.com and click on "settings" and then "Manage privacy settings" If you want everything hidden then check "hide my profile". Note that this will also hide your photo avatar in Yahoo Answers. A better method in to uncheck everything and then click on save. Now click "Manage privacy settings" again and then "my information". Click on each of the edits and use the pull down menu to select "not visible to anyone". Change the display name to match your nickname and save everything. You will have to sign out to see what others see. When someone goes to your profile they will only see the nickname and avatar used in Yahoo Answers. Everything else will be hidden. You can also control who sees your updates. Click on "settings" and then "Manage updates" To share nothing check the appropriate box. You can also share specific updates by selecting from the pull down lists. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪
