    Here’s how: 1. In Yahoo! Pulse (pulse.yahoo.com), click Settings located at the upper-right side of the page. 2. Click Manage privacy settings under “Privacy”. 3. On the new window, check the box next to “Hide my profile”. 4. Click Save. Visitors to your page see a gray face, your display name, and a message stating that you’ve hidden your profile. People, including your connections, won’t be able to search for you, contact you through Yahoo! Pulse, or invite you to connect. You continue to have access to all of your Yahoo! Pulse pages. Each page has a banner at the top reminding you that you’ve hidden your profile. The banner includes a button that will give you the option to unhide your profile.

Facebook: go to the top right hand corner and click on the drop doing thing, click privacy settings, customize, and then all the things that are like "posts by me" and everything involving you (pictures of your own and tagged, status', comments, wall posts, etc) and make it so it's "only me". if you want it so a few close friends can see it, write their names and click on their profile which will come up, in the "specific people" box. Myspace: well, I haven't been on in ages, but it's in accept settings, and then probably in privacy or something. but that's only to make it private to people who aren't your friends. :)
