Have a mac yahoo messenger but doesnt show the profile image?

okay so i have the yahoo messenger mac and i have the latest version but on the messenger were it lists all my friends it has there profile pic but when i open a chat with people it doesnt show there or my profile pic and i went to view profile image but it doesnt let me click on it. can u hep me fix it.
