How can I upload a profile picture on yahoo?

How do you upload a picture into your yahoo messenger profile i always get redirected to yahoo photo or flickr

  Go to or create an account with flickr. http://flickr.com/ Upload the image from your pc in ".jpeg" or ".jpg" or ".jpe" format only. Click on the "Your Photos" tab at flickr Scroll down to the bottom of the page Click the tab at the very bottom right-hand side "+MY Y!" The "+MY Y!" option at flickr adds your image to the "My Photo" window for Yahoo! for the messenger & also for 360°. Return to Yahoo! Messenger. Click "Messenger" tab OR Click the - "smiley icon" - avatar image to the left of your ID On drop-down window Click "My Display Image" The My Display Image window will open. - Select Share my picture Once you have selected "Share my picture" the picture in the box will be what others view while chatting on messenger. If you don't see the picture of your choice: Click "Select" tab - right-hand side to change the image. The My Pictures window will open with the currently viewed image to the right & various images including the one from flickr to the left. Click the image of your choice Click "OK". You will return to the My Display Image window & should see the one you clicked now being displayed on the My Display Image window. Click "OK" You should also be able to add additional photos from your pc once you have an account with flickr if you want to change your photo again by click the "Browse" tab to the right in the My Pictures window. This will then add other photos to the My Picture section.
