How do you know if someone deleted their facebook...or deleted/blocked you?

How do I know if someone can see me if I deleted them off my contact list?

  • I delete someone off of my contact list (do not wish to talk to them anymore) and was wanting to know .... if I deleted someone off that list and I appear online can they see that I am online or do they have to delete me off their list also. What can I do to ensure that they do not see me when I want to appear online?

    Even tho you have deleted them from your list they can still see when you are online & they will be able to send you messages. To ensure you do not want to appear online to them or be contacted by them anymore put them on your 'Ignore List'. To do this bring up your Messenger List. Click on 'Messenger' at top left corner. Go down to 'Preferences' & click it. Go down to 'Ignore List' & click it. Click on 'Add', type in the yahoo id, click 'Ignore', then click 'Apply' and 'Ok'. This way they can not contact you & they can not see you online. You will appear as offline to them.

Yes they can still see you online unless you put them on the Yahoo Messenger Ignore List. The Ignore List is in Yahoo Preferences. You can also use Stealth settings for people you do not want to see you online but are on your contact list. You only have to be visible to those you want to be visible to. to delete a contact: First right click on their icon, scroll down to stealth settings and change them so that you appear permanently offline. Then click on messenger, top left on the messenger window , scroll down to preferences, click and scroll down to ignore list, click and in the next window add them to your ignore list and click o.k. Then go back right click on their icon and delete them. This way they are history
