How Can I Use A Picture For My Avatar?

How can I use my profile picture as my avatar?

  • how can I use my profile picture as my avatar?

  • Answer:

TO CHANGE YOUR PICTURE ON YOUR ANSWERS PAGE AND PULSE PAGE (PROFILE) Click on your Avatar to go to your Answers page. Click on "Edit My Preferences". About half way down the page, you will see three options to either change your avatar or to change your picture from your Profiles page (now called "Pulse") or no picture. If you want to change it to an actual picture, you will have to do it from your Pulse page by clicking on the CURRENT picture on your Pulse page. If you hover over your current picture (or no picture), you will see it says "Add/Change your photo". Click on that, choose your picture and click on "OK". When you have changed it on your Pulse page, go back to your Answers page and check that it has changed. Then click on "Preview" followed by "OK". Sorry this may sound confusing but Yahoo have changed the name in some places and not in others. TO CHANGE YOUR PICTURE ON YAHOO MESSENGER Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner of the Messenger Window. Click on "My Display Image". The second option is "Share my Picture". Click on "Select" and then click on "Browse". Choose your picture by right clicking on it and clicking on "Select". Click on "OK" at the bottom to save your picture in Yahoo Messenger. Alternatively, you can right click on your current display image and click on "Choose a picture".
