How to change my nickname?

How Do You Change Your Yahoo! Messenger's Nickname?

  • How to change your YM ID such as "Kelly78" or "Matt8Devil" ??? I've clicked every button on my YM 10 tools and when I tried to change it by using "My Contact Details", I changed my "Messenger ID" and "Nickname" as "Fer12No" but it didn't change anything.. My names still "Andre Fernando" in the IM Box.. can you guide me to change my nickname ?? please help me..

    Click on "Messenger" in the top left hand corner of the Messenger Window. Click on "My Contact Details" and change your name in the top boxes and change your name under "Nickname". Click on "Save and Close" at the bottom. If you have saved and closed and it still hasn't changed, trying closing your IM and restarting your PC. If it still has not changed, report your problem to Yahoo.
