How do you view another persons profile if they are not online?

Is it possible to get a persons e- mail address or view a profile if all you have is thier Yahoo Chat name?

    you can get their profile from their chat id.....if you have them on your friend list, right click on it and hit "view profile" if you are just chatting with them, click on "actions" "contact options" and "view profile. you actually dont have to be really chatting to them. just go to send them a message and get their id in the box and you can do the same thing
