How do you add a picture to a Wikipedia profile?

How do you take a picture on the screen on your laptop, and add it to your picture profile?

  • I have a Dell Laptop, and I want to add a picture to my profile in one of the sites I'm on!I want to take a shot of a comic book character or sci-fi figure for fun! However,I am having some trouble taking the picture and putting on my profile! Is there something I'm missing in taking these pictures,or is there a key that I have to use in order to take the picture?Any help would be great!Thank you!

  • Answer:

I think it's illegal to use comic book characters pics, even if it's for fun. Don't you have to have permission from the owner? Anyway, I don't know about Dell, is it different than using any other laptop? I sometimes go in My documents and copy a photo I have and maybe use it for an avatar or put a personal photo in my photo album on a page. It's just copy and paste from my computer to the page I want to place it. Some pictures are downloadable and you're allowed to use by the owner. I remember using print screen a long time ago, lol.
