Everytime i use the yahoo messenger chat, my real name appears instead of my yahoo Id.How can i change it?

On the screen my real name appears instead of the yahoo id or my email add when i start chatting. I only want my yahoo i.d. to appear not my real name.

Hi there You have 2 options option #1: go to your messenger top bar and click on messenger, go to my profiles, in the button left hand side click on edit/create profiles, that will take you to your yahoo profile home page. there you can edit your name or nick. option #2: if you have your ID added to your yahoo messenger , right click on it and scroll down to Edit contact details. a panel will open, there you can change your name or nick, just hit close and save when your done and it will change automatically.
