How do I create a new Yahoo screen name if I already have one?

Yahoo uses my alternate screen name when I sign in using my primary one.?

  • When I sign into Yahoo using my primary screen name and go into a Yahoo Chat room my screen name changes to one of my alternates. Why? How can I fix this? I didn't make any changes for this to happen.

  • Answer:

    When you are logged on to yahoo e-mail, go to www.yahoo.com On the upper right hand corner it says Hi, ** or Hi, <your screen name> click on ** or your screen name (it may ask for your password again) It will open your yahoo account web page. On the right side, under public information, click edit/create profiles. You can click on the profile name <make as default> link for the profile, you would like to use as primary profile.
