How do you make your avatar your profile picture?

How do you make a avatar as your profile picture,here on yahoo?

  • I want to make a avatar as my prfile picture on here, like everyone else has, and their name is under the profile picture, can anyone explain to me how to do it or how to get to it? Thanks for your help! :)

    For a pic or avatar. Go to edit my preferences at the right of your avatar click update photo or avatar.you can get an avatar at http://avatars.yahoo.com/home.php?g=fIn the box that opens select add photo or customize avatar. Folow the instructions and job done. Make sure your pulse is not set to private as that stops it from appearing,

Sure, but first know that their name isn't part of the avatar, that is done separately, I'll explain. *Avatar* ----------- To create a Yahoo Avatar click the link http://avatars.yahoo.com After you are on the avatar page look up on the top right and click on (Preferences) then choose "Male or Female". On the next page you will see a tool bar up at the top with some selections. 1 ►Click the [Appearance] tab to choose your skin color, your face and your eye and hair colors as well, just click on the colored boxes to the right of each image. 2 ►Click the [Apparel] tab. You can try on different outfits or choose a top and bottom, or just go with mix and match'em up, you can have a lot of fun with this. 3 ►Click the [Extras] tab and check out the different accessories, want sunglasses ~ಠಠ~ or maybe you want a fishing poll so you can catch the BIG ONE <º))))>< 4 ►Click the [Backgrounds] tab, you can choose to be on the beach, in the snow, or if you like to party then choose a nightclub. After you have looked through the categories and have created your avatar, then click (Save Changes). When you have done that then return to "My Activity" and click the (Edit My) tab. On the next page click [Update Photo or Avatar] then click on your new avatar to highlight it, then click [Use Selected Photo], then you are done. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~… If you have your Pulse Profile set to private your avatar will not show on Yahoo Answers.
