How do I change my display pic to my avatar?

Have created avatar, have downloaded messenger. Have a avatar in mail. But no pic on profile in Q&A.?

  • I tried clicking on my profile, then the shadow pic but no option comes up to change the avatar. In messenger have ticked the box display image, then checked the show avatar box. But still no avatar. Why?

    it's been a problem for more than a month, honestly, I think that they've quit working on it - notice how few of us have avatars anymore? It really aggravates me. don't mind the people who tell you how to do it, like we're idiots who just forgot, it just hasn't happened to them.
