ok here is the best work around to add a pic to your profile i can come up with until yahoo fixes the basic problem..go to your profile from the main messenger so the EDIT INFORMATION and EDIT PHOTO is showing...clik EDIT PHOTO and notice the URL.. you'll see "http://us.up" at the very beginning. Change the "us" to "cn" and click enter, (Yes, I have to add the "enter" part, because I told a friend this and they weren't intelligent enough to press "enter) it'll take you to the chinese version of the site. Browse for your picture like normal, then click the button on the left, where you'd normally accept the picture upload. Then you're done.
