Why cannot I view my profile on yahoo?

I am trying to view my friend's profile on Yahoo Messenger, but it is not doing anything. Why?

  • It shows that he is online, but when I go under "actions", almost all of the things are in a faded gray (call computer, contact details, view profile, etc.) It does nothing when connecting to "view profile". The audibles are in a faded gray also, and it states on top that this user does not support web cam or photo sharing. Does this mean he blocked me, to where he will no longer receive my messages? If so, why would he still appear online to me, wouldn't he just delete me to where he no longer appears online to me, or doesn't blocking do this (make them permanently offline to me)? None of my other friend's messenger boxes do this.

    In messenger, click on help. More than likely, HE disabled something so that no messages can be sent
